250 Million Years Ago!

Here are the new shirts! They are printed on high quality Gildan soft spun shirts (American Apparel style). The back logo is 13", basically as big as humanly possible. On the left breast there is a Pangea winged logo with some SLC pride below the logo. They are in the store now, grab 'em quick because I only did a limited run, they will dry up fast. $15 s, m, l, xl

Last Weekend

Here is a little photo recap of the adventure from last weekend. If you didn't catch the news from a few posts ago, Cam, our friend Audrey who is a marketing master mind, and yours truly, hit the road to meet up with Chris Collins of =70 moto= for moon eyes and David Mann. Thanks to everyone who stopped past and said hi, and an extra special thanks to Chris and Yuriko for hangin' out with us for the weekend.

Whats Up?

Hey guys I thought I would clue you in on some news! First things first, most of you guys know that so far I have been running Pangea Speed at night while I worked as a model maker during the day. Well, Pangea Speed is now in full affect! I am going to be focusing all my time on Pangea Speed now!

With that being said, lately I have had to turn down some really cool custom fabrication work due to the fact that I just didn't have enough time in the day to do it all. I will be taking on custom fabrication clients again. Bars, oil tanks, gas tanks, control sets, if you have a project that you would like to have me work on feel free to send me an email and we will go from there.

Second, tomorrow I will be picking up the new Pangea Speed t-shirts! They look great and I think you guys are going to dig the new art work! I will get some photos up tomorrow when I have them in hand.

Third, I have been working away diligently on the new peg and kicker pedals! I have switched gears on the casting process. Now they will be investment cast vs sand cast. That means way better surface finish and better tolerances. I know they are taking a minute to get but trust me these parts are going to be rad!

Moto Monday

Well tonight we had the first moto monday event. A few people dragged their rigs out of the shed and rode over! My shovel didn't like the cold much but worked well enough to get me down the snowy road! Some others had some detremental mechanical issues that limited them to driving or walking over. Thanks to everyone who showed up it was a blast! Make a note... first monday of Jan! Be there! Here is a shot of the early birds, missed a few of the late comers.

Here is a rad little vid that Jake from Bolts Action whipped up recording the nights action.

Skilled Hands

My great friend and co worker Curtis Parker set me up with one of his custom gems. I have worked with Curtis for quite a few years now, he has one of the best eyes for scale and proportion that I have ever seen. Curtis has worked as a clay modeler for some of the giants in the car industry including but not limited to Volkswagen, Honda, and General Motors. Curtis grew up with plenty of hot rodding in his blood due to the fact that his father was one of the original rodders of southern California.
Scaling back from his full scale projects at work, Curtis has released a short run of hot rods. Each car is hand treated with paint, patina, and even rust in some cases. The attention to detail while keeping a hand sculpted look is amazing. He currently offers chopped sedans in two sizes and pickups in one size (shown here).

If you are interested in purchasing one of his creations feel free to contact him through his blog oath fine art.
